MARINKATA LTD. is responsible for running our services under UK jurisdiction.

We only collect data that we need to run our VPN services. Our systems are designed to never store sensitive data about you. We don’t track your online activity when you’re using our services, including browsing history, traffic destination, data content, or DNS queries. We don’t store connection logs like your IP address, outgoing VPN IP address, connection timestamp, payment information, or session duration. We’ll never share, misuse, or exploit any data that we don’t have, no matter what.

Please note that this Privacy Policy needs to be read together with the CoverMeVPN Terms and Conditions (the Terms). They make up a legally binding agreement between you and CoverMeVPN, so make sure you read them carefully. Unless stated otherwise, the big words here will mean the same things as in the Terms. To keep your personal data safe, we offer payment methods like Bitcoin that don’t require too much personal information. We also work with trusted partners to make the login process easier, detect fraudulent signups, and prevent account hijacking. These partners may get your IP address, but they keep it separate from other systems, don’t record your online behavior, and delete the IP address after 30 days.

How do we protect and maintain your personal data?

  • Security: We’ve got top-notch security measures in place for our offices and data storage facilities. We take this seriously, so we’ve implemented physical, procedural, and technical security measures to ensure that your Personal Data is safe from harm. Although we believe our systems are robust, it’s important to understand that no data security measures can 100% guarantee protection. That’s why we only collect the bare minimum data required for your security.
  • Legal: Your personal data is stored and controlled by CoverMeVPN, which follows UK laws. It is important to know that MARINKATA LTD. and related entities do not control your data. If there’s any legal demand for personal data, it will be handled under UK laws and jurisdiction. We take our users’ privacy very seriously and will fight hard to protect it if there’s any attempt to bypass it. MARINKATA LTD., its parent company, or any related entity cannot be made to give your personal data that’s stored by CoverMeVPN.
  • Retention of your Personal Data: Just a heads up, we only collect your non-sensitive personal data and never store sensitive information like your browsing history, DNS queries, payment information, or IP addresses. We hold onto your personal data for a limited time as per the applicable data protection law, or until we have your consent or a legitimate reason for holding such data. But if you want us to delete your data, just hit us up with a valid deletion request. Please note that if you opt to delete your Personal Data, but you won’t be able to use our services anymore.
  • Servers and data centers: Our servers are kept in really secure data centers that don’t require us to collect or store any of your traffic data or Personal Data related to your use of our Services. If any data center ever asks us to log such data, we will stop working with them right away and find other options. Even if the government ever physically takes one of our VPN servers, there wouldn’t be any logs or info that could tie you to anything you did online.

How do we protect your personal data in relation to service providers?

CoverMeVPN hires Agents, contractors, and third-party service providers who might have access to some data. These Service Providers help CoverMeVPN with payment processing, administering the Services, and running the business. Service Providers are legally bound to keep the data confidential and use it only to perform the services for CoverMeVPN. Service Providers can’t use the data for any other purpose. They have to follow the law and protect the data, especially when it comes to transferring Personal Data from the European Union/European Economic Area to a third country. 

Service Providers can only access the data necessary for the services they provide on behalf of CoverMeVPN. However, CoverMeVPN doesn’t collect VPN activity or connection data, so Service Providers won’t have access to this type of data

At CoverMeVPN, we keep track of everything we discuss with our customers. This includes any questions, complaints, compliments, or feedback you might have, which you can send to us through our Site or Services.
